How young people see themselves and the world around them shapes everything they do.
So, we’ve developed Get Real – a group where young people can explore Christian faith, spirituality and the meaning of their life. It is here that we often witness the most profound change as young people develop a new sense of self and the motivation and resilience to make a difference to their lives.
Get Real is a weekly gathering of young people with Christian faith-based content which aims to enable all who attend, from any faith background or from none, to be encouraged to think, reflect and grow. The evening is fast-paced and lively and includes time for fun, food and socialising as well as icebreakers, discussion and space to hear new ideas and consider personal opinions.
If you would like to learn more about our understanding of how faith has an input into our youth work, this document will explain more.
Growing Youth Work
We offer a bespoke service to churches and other community organisations to help them to grow and develop their youth work.
Working alongside local churches
We support the development of local faith and expression for young people in some of our communities. This has included primary age groups with faith-based content and groups for the whole family that enable them to explore faith in a safe and culturally relevant way. These groups are developed and grown through partnerships with some of the local churches we work alongside in each community.
