Growing Youth Work

We are passionate about the difference youth work can make so we love to use our experience to support others to grow youth work in their own community or neighbourhood.

Many people can see the need for youth work, but starting to engage young people and growing a fledgling project is difficult. Many churches and small community organisations simply don’t have the resources or expertise to deliver long-term, effective youth work. This can leave them worried about how to address the issues they see local young people facing.

emerge have grown and sustained a wide variety of youth work programmes over many years based on our knowledge of young people and with the support of local partners. Using this experience we have started to work with churches, community groups and voluntary organisations to develop local youth work through our ‘Growing Youth Work’ scheme.
